World’s Premier Transportation Trade Show
Comes to Baltimore

The LIUNA Tri-Funds have agreed to co-sponsor the first Intertraffic North America conference and trade show in Baltimore, September 27 – 29. The show is free and open to all. LIUNA members and signatory contractors who are interested in the “what’s what” and “who’s who” of the transportation infrastructure, traffic management and parking industries of the U.S. and Canada should make plans to attend.

Since 1972, the biennial Intertraffic trade fair in Amsterdam (25,000 delegates, 700 exhibitors) has been a benchmark of excellence in bringing together supply and demand for the traffic industry. In addition to Europe, Intertraffic trade fairs are now held in Latin America, Eurasia and Asia. Next month’s show will be the first organized in North America.

One of the LHSFNA’s partners in the Roadway Safety Alliance – the American Road and Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA) – is the chief North American organizer. The ARTBA is working with Amsterdam’s RAI, a trade show organizing company with more than a century of experience.

Intertraffic’s success and growth is based on a focus on developments in the traffic industry market as well as the concept of a broad exhibition platform and strong partner alliances. More than 200 companies will exhibit, and the program offers two tracks – one on traffic and transportation; the other on parking – as well as the OHSA 10-hour course. The conference program begins Tuesday at noon and runs through Thursday at 2:30 pm.

The show will be staged at the Baltimore Convention Center, near the Inner Harbor. Registration and other additional information is available at Intertraffic North America.
