Excellent issue. Thanks for putting me on your distribution list. I always find at least one item I'm interested in.

One suggestion my husband made in the midst of all these disasters: Put all your personal data on a computer "memory stick." You can wear them on a chain around your neck, put them on your keychain, or stick them in your pocket or pocketbook if you have to evacuate. You can send one to a trusted person in another region for safekeeping. You can put a password on the stick to protect your information, and it still should be usable on most computers.
