More Ammunition in Battle for Healthy Weight
NBC’s The Biggest Loser kicked off its fifth season in January, proving that losing weight has become a popular national obsession.
March is National Nutrition Month, sponsored by the American Dietetic Association and a good time to consider the amazing benefits. March also marks the first anniversary of the LHSFNA’s Health Promotion Division’s publication of Nutrition and Fitness for Laborers, the Fund’s training program for Laborers who want to adopt a healthier lifestyle through better food choices, more exercise and enhanced general well-being. Two educational brochures, Becoming Physically Active and Weight Matters, are also part of the program’s resources. All are available through the Fund’s Publications Catalogue.
